Imagination Creations was hired to produce an animated show opener for a new pilot entitled "The Fishing Life" The show's creators were looking for something different that people would instantly recognize. Because the subject matter, fishing, is something so basic that has been around for a very long time, I thought it would be appropriate to use the technique of traditional animation. Don't be fooled by the simple look of this video, the process that was used to create this animation was not basic at all. The objects were all hand drawn, and then the animation was all done digitally in After Effects.
